Tyler Hood


Tyler is a former Las Vegas, Nevada resident and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a minor degree in Philosophy from the University of Nevada. He graduated from Willamette University College of Law and after passing the Oregon bar exam began practicing in Portland, Oregon in 2011. An avid sports fan, Tyler met his wife, Erin, while watching the 2011 Alabama – Louisiana State University football game. Erin is a Knoxville native, and the two relocated to Tennessee at the end of 2012.

After passing both the Nevada and Tennessee bar exams in 2013, Tyler began practicing in Washington County, Tennessee in 2014. For the past three years, Tyler was a Title IV-D attorney in the Child Support Office of Knox County, handling the initiation, prosecution, and modification of child support cases in Juvenile, Chancery and Fourth Circuit Courts.

He has grown to love southern life here in East Tennessee, and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Erin, their two children, Griffin and Harper, and their two young pups, Remy and Pumpkin.
